Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a color shift correction device for reducing the color shift in a reconstructed image which has been emitted by a light-guide plate for outputting a reconstructed image by propagating an input image and diffracting light via a hologram; and a method for correcting color shift. The present invention provides a color shift correction device equipped with an optical system-securing device (600) for securing a light-guide plate (200) and movably holding a light source (500) for inputting an input image into the light-guide plate (200), a light-receiving device (300) for receiving a reconstructed image outputted from the light-guide plate (200), a light-receiving device drive circuit (320) for driving the light-receiving device (300), a light source drive circuit (510) for driving the light source (500), and a control device (400) for controlling the entire color shift correction device, wherein said control device (400) controls the light source (500) in a manner such that the input image includes a white line, gradation data of each RGB color which constitutes the white line of the reconstructed image is acquired for each single pixel, the color shift amount is determined from the gradation data, and on the basis of the color shift amount, the position or angle of incidence of the light source (500) onto the light-guide plate (200) is controlled by controlling the light source drive circuit (510).
