Abstract:
A light guide unit (100) comprises an optical fiber (101) for guiding laser light, a protective member (102) which surrounds the optical fiber (101) and is formed from a material that is heat resistant with respect to laser light, and a light-diffusing member (103) for covering the protective member (102) from the outside. The protective member (102) is flexible due to distribution of a gap that is smaller than the outside diameter (D) of the optical fiber (101). The light-diffusing member (103) diffuses the laser light.
