Abstract:
Provided are a light source unit and a display device that can ensure uniformity of brightness at a light-emitting surface even when reduced in thickness. A light source unit having: a light source installation surface on which at least one micro light source is installed; a translucent base that is aligned with the light source installation surface; and a reflective pattern formed on a first surface of the base positioned on the light-source-installation-surface side, the reflective pattern being formed on the basis of the light distribution characteristics of the micro light source, wherein the gap between the light source installation surface and a second surface positioned on the side opposite the first surface in the base is 1-2 mm [inclusive].
