Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a light source unit that can be accommodated in a narrow space, can be bent according to the shape of the space, and is capable of linear light emitting with a desired lighting pattern, and a vehicular lamp equipped with the same. [Solution] This light source unit 1 is constituted by a band-like light transmitting film 3 in which LEDs 2 are embedded and a band-like lens 4 that covers the light transmitting film 3 from the front surface or the rear surface. The lens 4 is provided with: a light condensing part 41 that condenses light from the LEDs 2; and a reflective part 42 that changes the orientation of the light incident onto a surface facing the mounting surface of the light condensing part 41 from the light condensing part 41. The LEDs 2 are arranged linearly in the longitudinal direction of the light transmitting film 3 and a lighting control can be performed independently on each of the LEDs.
