CLAIMS

1- The invention is about the lighted bag set-up increasing visibility for motorcycles, including an on/off button (1) and a start button (5) and its’ characteristic is being consisted of;

- stop LED (2), right indicator LED (3) and left indicator LED (4) located on the bag surface,

- bluetooth, receiver transmitter sensor or cable connection enabling stop LED (2), right indicator LED (3) and left indicator LED (4) to communicate with motorcycle’s stop LED or right and left indicators,

- a charging terminal enabling motorcycle driver to charge his/her phone.

2- What is mentioned in Clam 1 is the lighted bag set-up increasing visibility for motorcycles and its’ characteristic is having the powerbank or battery located inside the bag in order to supply the power required for the device.

3- What is mentioned in Clam 1 is the lighted bag set-up increasing visibility for motorcycles and its’ characteristic is including the right indicator LED (3), left indicator LED (4) and stop LEd (2) located on the bag surface, enabling the driver to be noticed in case of motorcycle driver giving right or left signal or putting on the brakes.

This invention is about the lighted bag set-up increasing visibility for motorcycles, designed especially for motorcycle drivers needed to be noticed in traffic and suitable to be used by vehicle drivers with a higher potential of taking heavy damage in an accident.

Current Situation of The Technique:

Motorcycle use in our country is increasing day by day. Due to traffic problems faced in especially big metropolises motorcycle use has notably increased compared to past.

Today motorcycle drivers are in a constant risk in traffic. Both being hard to be noticed by other drivers and other drivers being careless against motorcycle drivers are causing big dangers in traffic and leading to accidents. It’s also known that blind spots on vehicle mirrors pose a greater danger for motorcycle drivers than other larger vehicles but there are no precautions taken for this. Another reason for motorcyle accidents in traffic is motorcycle drivers passing by not only the left but often the right side of vehicles. Other vehicle drivers generally check left mirror but most of the drivers rarely check right mirror. And this poses a big problem for motorcyle drivers.

A vast majority of motorcycle accidents happens because they can’t be noticed by drivers due to their lack of adequate equipment. It’s too hard to notice a motorcycle driver among all the other vehicle lights in the traffic.

Even the two or three wheeled vehicles used in the current situation of the technique have adequate equipment, both the stop lamp and head lights and turn indicators of the motorcycle can not provide sufficient lighting and warning in the dark. The light intensity is weak compared to other vehicles. They’re too hard to see within the light signs of other vehicles especially at far distances.

In the patent application numbered TR201103798“Lighted warning system increasing visibility” has been described. This invention is about the lighted warning system increasing visibility, designed especially for motorcycle or bicycle drivers needed to be noticed in traffic and suitable to be weared by vehicle drivers with a higher potential of taking heavy damage in an accident and also suitable to be used by those who work under conditions requiring noticeability.

In the application issue numbered W02004105523A1“Signal lamp jacket for drivers of non-closed vehicles” has been described. The invention is the signal lamp jacket for drivers of non-closed vehicles and designed as signal apparatus and signal operating system to be integrated into the jacket. Here the person wearing the jacket can demonstrate most of the signal mods such as left indicator, right indicator, moving indicator and stop indicator.

In the application issue numbered US2005275193A1 “Vehicle security lighting and signal system” has been described. The invention is a vehicle security lighting and signal system and composed of a transmitter unit and many remote receiver units each having a lighting and audio component and receiving signals coming from transmitter unit and activating its’ own signalling components by selection according to the preset signal respond controlled by transmitter unit. In the application issue numbered US9521732B1“Wearable motion-signal bag” has been described. The invention is detailing a wearable motion signal bag. This bag includes an housing. The invention is composed of one or more hangers attached to the housing in a way to let the user to wear it, one or more motion sensors, one or more lights touching at least one of the surfaces of body, one or more controls set in a way to be activated by the user and a microcontroller which can be operated under programmable control and integrated to one or more of the sensors, controls and lights and configured in a way to provide signals related to user’s movements, based on datas detected from motion sensors and commands coming from capacitive controls.

In the application issue numbered US2002145864A1“Lighted signal system for vehicle user” has been described. The invention is detailing a lighted signal system connected to the devices or electrical indicator systems of these devices which induce the vehicle to change direction and speed. This signal system allows the direction and vehicle’s intend to frankly indicate itself, including user’ s turn to right, left, acceleration and braking.

In the application issue numbered US2004177428A1“Light emitting indicator jacket for motor vehicle use” has been described. The invention is a security jacket customized to be weared by motor vehicle users without protection like motorcycle drivers and as the user activates the left indicator the left light on the jacket starts to blink, as the user activates the right indicator the right light on the jacket starts to blink.

In the application issue numbered US2017072840A1“Helmet with signal indicators” has been described. The invention includes a helmet as a turn indicator displaying system which contains one or more indicator for lighting, a power unit configured to power one or more indicators and a control unit configured to control one or more indicators. The helmet also includes a light sensing unit, a slope calculation unit and an analyse tool unit.

But sensors required for motions to be noticed is causing wrong signals in sudden moves.

In the applications above signal indicator systems developed for motorcycle users, are discussed. Said applications are designed as helmet, jacket and tapes and have various disadvantages by means of practicality of use. In addition their error margin could be quite high due to various sensors they include such as accelerometer. In conclusion there’s a need for an easy-use, low-cost, portable new technology which can overcome the above said disadvantages, is in communication with motorcycle turn indicators and minimizes the error margin.

The Invention Definition:

This invention is the lighted bag set-up increasing visibility for motorcycles and its’ characteristic is being an easy-use, low-cost, portable new technology which is in communication with motorcycle turn indicators and minimizes the error margin.

In order to realize all purposes mentioned above and that will come up from the detailed explanation below the invention is designed for motorcycle drivers that need to be noticed in traffic and used by vehicle drivers with a higher pootential of taking damage in an accident.

With the help of the radio signal transmitted by the radio transmitter located in the bag subject to invention and connected to motorcycle’s stop lamp and right and left indicators, leds on the bag will be lighted and give warning as the motorcycle brakes or user gives signal when turning right or left. In this warning method there’s a light setup viewed when signalled to left and right or put on the brakes. The lighted system used on the bag is powered by a power source again located in the bag. And this again lets the bag to be used portably.

The product subject to invention purposes to increase the visibility of motorcycle drivers in traffic and when used by motorcycle users, enables them to be substantially noticed by other drivers in a crowded traffic, at intersections and in a potential hard situation.

It’s makes drivers using the product subject to invention, impossible to be not seen especially at dangerous intersections. It enables motorcycle drivers to be able to be seen like an automobile when in motion. The most important feature of the bag subject to invention, is allowing the driver to wear whatever he wants due to its’ portability. The bag subject to invention can be used together with any outfit.

The invention can supply electricity from the motorcycle’s battery, cells, solar source, wind source or motion of wheels. When the motorcycle driver brakes or signals to left or right with the invention, the systemically placed lights of the system give warning signals about the intended or to be intended motion to other drivers.

The invention enables easy-use by motorcycle drivers due to its’ portability. For it increases the driving safety user will find the bag subject to invention almost as necessary as helmet.

All the advantages of the method subject to invention will be more clearly understood with the diagram given below and the detailed explanation by means of referring this diagram and for this reason the assessment needs to be made considering this diagram and detailed explanation.

Description of The Invention:

The invention consists of the stop LED (2), right indicator LED (3) and left indicator LED (4) located on the bag surface, bluetooth, receiver transmitter sensor or cable connection enabling stop LED (2), right indicator LED (3) and left indicator LED (4) to communicate with motorcycle’s stop LED or right and left indicators and a charging terminal enabling motorcycle driver to charge his/her phone.

The invention has a powerbank or battery located inside the bag in order to supply power required for the device.

The invention includes the right indicator LED (3), left indicator LED (4) and the stop LED (2) located on the bag surface, enabling the motorcycle driver to be noticed in case of the driver giving right or left signal or putting on the brake.

Detailed Description of The Invention:

The basic elements consisiting the product subject to invention are on/off button (1), stop LED (2), right indicator LED (3), left indicator LED (4) and start button. The operating of the product subject to invention is as follows: In case of the motorcycle driver giving right or left signal or putting on the brake, right indicator LED (3), left indicator LED (4) and stop LED (2) will communicate with vehicle’s lamps via bluetooth or receiver transmitter sensor or cable connection. As a result of the bag communicating with the lamps when motorcycle driver gives right or left signal or puts on brakes it’s enabled for the driver to be noticed. The invention supplies the power required for the LEDS of the bag, with the powerbank or battery it includes. In addition the invention has a charging terminal that enables the motorcycle driver to charge his/her phone.
