Abstract:
In order to confirm the operation of an abnormality detection unit without using a pseudo-abnormality signal, the present invention provides a liquid spray device that is provided with: a piezoelectric element that varies the volume of a liquid chamber that communicates with a spray pipe that sprays a liquid; a supply motor for supplying the liquid to the liquid chamber; an input unit that inputs a drive signal to the piezoelectric element and/or the supply motor; an abnormality detection unit that detects abnormality in the drive signal input to the piezoelectric element, in the input unit, and/or in the supply motor; a setting unit that sets the abnormality detection unit to a state in which the abnormality detection unit detects abnormality in a normal detection object; and a control unit that can confirm the operation of the abnormality detection unit.
