Abstract:
This load control device (1) is provided with: a switching unit (11) serially connected to an alternating-current power source (AC) and to a load (LD); a zero-cross detection unit (12) for outputting a zero-cross signal through detection of an alternating-current waveform of the alternating-current power source (AC); a radio communication unit (14) for receiving a radio signal including load control information and transmitted from the outside; and a phase control unit (13) for performing on/off control of the switching unit (11) on the basis of the zero-cross signal and the radio signal. The radio communication unit (14) enters a dormant state if no radio signal is received during operating time (T1) thereof and resumes operation after dormancy time (T2) has passed after entering the dormant state. The total time of the operating time (T1) and the dormancy time (T2) is shorter than transmission time (T0) of the radio signal.
