Abstract:
This lock device 1 is provided with: a key 2 having a circular cylindrical shaft section 2b having a guide groove 2e axially formed therein. A cylinder lock 4 is provided with: an outer cylinder 5; an inner cylinder 8 having an inner cylinder body 8a which is contained in the outer cylinder so as to be capable of pivoting, a rod 9 which is affixed to the inner cylinder body, and a key insertion opening; a locking bar 7 provided between the inner cylinder body and the outer cylinder and engaging in a releasable manner with both the inner cylinder body and the outer cylinder to prevent the inner cylinder from rotating; and a tumbler 13 having a guide protrusion 13e engaging with a key groove 2e in a releasable manner, the tumbler 13 also having an inner engagement recess 13d which is contained in the inner cylinder so as to be capable of pivoting and into which the locking bar is fitted. The shaft section of the key is inserted into the key insertion opening of the inner cylinder to engage the guide protrusion with the key groove and cause the tumbler to pivot along the key groove, thereby matching the inner engagement recess of the tumbler with the position of the locking bar. The locking bar is inserted radially into the bar insertion hole 8d of the inner cylinder and fitted into the inner engagement recess of the tumbler to release the engagement between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder, enabling the inner cylinder to pivot.
