Abstract:
A locking mechanism for an electric bicycle, comprising a body (11), a power box (12), and a drive assembly (13). The drive assembly (13) is installed on the body (11); the body (11) comprises a carrying support (111); the power box (12) is detachably connected to the carrying support (111); the drive assembly (13) comprises a drive rod (131); the drive assembly (13) drives, by means of the drive rod (131), wheels on the body (11) to rotate; the drive assembly (13) also comprises a locking module (132); the locking module (132) comprises wedge blocks (1322), locking rods (1323), and springs (1324); one sides of the springs (1324) are connected to base surfaces, and the other sides are connected to the wedge blocks (1322); the locking rods (1323) are installed on the wedge blocks (1322); locking holes (1311) are provided in the side surfaces of the drive rod (131); the locking rods (1323) are connected to the locking holes (1311); a trapezoidal push block (1234) is installed on the power box (12); the trapezoidal push block (1234) is in contact with the slope surfaces of the wedge blocks (1322) and is placed on the carrying support (111) by means of the power box (12); and the trapezoidal push block (1234) pushes the wedge blocks (1322), so that the locking rods (1323) are disconnected from the locking holes (1311). The locking mechanism has a stable structure and is convenient to use.
