Abstract:
This long structural member (1) includes the following features in the transverse cross-section of a portion or the entirety of the long structural member (1) in the longitudinal direction (DL) thereof. A top plate section (2), a first flange section (5) and a second flange section (6) are flat. A first side plate section (3), a first upper corner section (7), and a first lower corner section (9) form a first thick section (11). The thickness (t11) of the first thick section (11) is greater than the thickness (t2) of the top plate section and greater than the thickness (t5) of the first flange section (5). A second side plate section (4), a second upper corner section (8), and a second lower corner section (10) form a second thick section (12). The thickness (t12) of the second thick section (12) is greater than the thickness (t2) of the top plate section (2), and greater than the thickness (t6) of the second flange section (6).
