Abstract:
The present invention relates to a louver fin forming method capable of easily cutting a portion of a louver fin without damaging a louver, and a heat exchanger including the louver fins manufactured using same. The louver fin forming method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: a) forming, on the surface of a thin sheet member extending to one side, a first cut part by cutting a portion of the edge of a region to be removed, at which a cut part of the louver fin is to be formed; b) inserting the thin sheet member into a form roll and bending same so as to repeatedly form upper bent parts and lower bent parts, forming the louver between the upper bent part and the lower bent part, and bending the first cut part so as to manufacture the louver fin having a final cut part; and c) forming the cut part by cutting the remaining edge of the region to be removed, and thus a portion of the edge of the cut part is removed in advance before the thin sheet member is inserted into the form roll.
