Abstract:
A low-dropout linear regulator (200) and a control circuit thereof. The control circuit comprises an error amplifier (210) and an anti-backflow circuit (220), the anti-backflow circuit (220) being used for comparing an input voltage (Vin) with an output voltage (Vout) to switch a substrate voltage (VCCH) and a control terminal voltage (Vgate) of a power transistor (Mpout) to the highest potential between the input voltage (Vin) and the output voltage (Vout), such that the power transistor (Mpout) and parasitic body diodes (D1, D2) thereof can be turned off in time when the output voltage (Vout) is greater than the input voltage (Vin) to prevent damage to the power transistor (Mpout) caused by current backflow, thereby improving the reliability of the low-dropout linear regulator (200).
