Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to control the strength of a signal received by a low-noise amplifier in accordance with the strength of a reception signal sent by a mobile terminal to a communication satellite. The present invention is a low-noise amplification device provided in a communication satellite, said device comprising: a variable-power attenuation unit that generates an attenuation signal by attenuating a reception signal received by the communication satellite; a low-noise amplification unit that generates an amplification signal by amplifying, with low noise, the attenuation signal; and a signal control unit that adjusts the attenuation applied by the variable-power attenuation unit by outputting a control signal to the variable-power attenuation unit in accordance with the attenuation signal.
