Title:
LOW TEMPERATURE COFIRED CERAMIC MATERIAL AND CERAMIC SUBSTRATE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/092969
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a low temperature cofired ceramic material which exhibits little fluctuations in constituent content after firing, can provide a fired product having high flexural strength, can achieve high peel strength of a surface electrode formed thereon, and can form a ceramic substrate having excellent reliability. Specifically disclosed is a low temperature cofired ceramic material for use in the production of a ceramic layer (2) in a multi-layered ceramic substrate (1). The low temperature cofired ceramic material comprises a main component ceramic material comprising Si in an amount of 48 to 75% by weight in terms of SiO2 content, Ba in an amount of 20 to 40% by weight in terms of BaO content, and Al in an amount of 5 to 20% by weight in terms of Al2O3 content and an accessory component ceramic material containing Mn in an amount of 2.5 to 5.5 parts by weight in terms of MnO content and Mg in an amount of 0.1 to 10 parts by weight in terms of MgO content both relative to 100 parts by weight of the main component ceramic material, and does not substantially contain any Cr oxide and any B oxide.
