Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a low temperature storage system with which devices such as a drive mechanism peripheral to a lower temperature shed can have inexpensive and simple configurations, space efficiency is improved, maintenance is facilitated and deterioration due to increased temperature of an object being stored is prevented while storage and retrieval of the object being stored to and from the low temperature shed is easily achieved. Provided is a low temperature storage system (100) with a load in/out mechanism for loading in/out an object to be stored into a low temperature shed (110), wherein the load in/out mechanism comprises a multi-joint arm unit (130) disposed on the side of the low temperature shed (110) and multiple hand tools. The multiple hand tools comprise: a transfer rack hand tool (140), which holds a transfer rack (170) for holding the object being stored; and a picking hand tool (150) for directly holding the object being stored.
