Abstract:
Provided are: a lubricant composition that, when applied to the site of contact between metals, can suppress rust development and that can demonstrate excellent lubrication performance; and a bearing having the lubricant composition sealed therein. The lubricant composition includes at least one of two-ring liquid crystal compounds represented by formula (1), at least one of three-ring liquid crystal compounds represented by formula (2), and a halogen ion, where the content of the halogen ion is 1-900 ppm.
