Abstract:
The present invention provides: a lubricant composition that favorably reduces friction between sliding members such as an inner part, etc., of a pump for causing a heating medium of a heat pump device to flow; and a lubricating system in which the composition is used as a heating medium. This lubricant composition 10 comprises an antifreeze liquid 11 including ethylene glycol, and 0.01% by mass or less of nanodiamond particles 12. It is preferred that the nanodiamond particles 12 are detonation nanodiamond particles. It is preferred that the lubricant composition 10 is a liquid composition for a heat pump. In addition, in this lubricating system, the lubricant composition 10 is used as a heating medium.
