Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a lubricating oil composition that includes a zinc dialkyldithiophosphate, wherein color deterioration over time is slow. This problem is solved by a lubricating oil composition including: a base oil (A); a zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (B); and a sodium-based cleaning agent (C), wherein the zinc atom content in relation to the total mass of the lubricating oil composition is 100 mass ppm to 2,000 mass ppm, and the sodium atom content in relation to the total mass of the lubricating oil composition is 5 mass ppm to 1,000 mass ppm.
