Abstract:
This lubricating oil composition contains: a lubricating oil base oil having a kinematic viscosity of 6.0-12.0 mm2/s at 40 °C; (A) a succinimide dispersant which has a polyisobutenyl group having a number average molecular weight of at least 800 and which is contained in an amount of at least 80 ppm in terms of nitrogen content, and in an amount of at most 2.7 mass% in terms of a compound; and (B) a condensation reaction product of an alkyl or alkenyl succinic acid having a C8-C30 alkyl or alkenyl group or an anhydride thereof, and a polyamine, or a modified product thereof, or a combination thereof, the condensation reaction product being contained in an amount of 50-1300 mass ppm in terms of nitrogen content, wherein a product of the weight average molecular weight of component (A) and the content (mass%) of component (A) in terms of a compound equals at most 16,000.
