Abstract:
The purpose of this invention is to provide technology for highly reliably diagnosing the remaining life of lubricating oil in a machine such as a wind power generator or gas turbine. One preferable aspect of the present invention is a method for diagnosing lubricating oil that is used in a machine and includes an additive. This lubricating oil diagnosis method is characterized in that a first result that has been determined separately in advance and is the result of electrochemical measurement and a second result that has been determined separately in advance and is the result of optical measurement are used to prepare information indicating the relationship between the first result and the second result and the information is used to make it possible to convert between first data that is based on the result of electrochemical measurement of the lubricating oil that is used in the machine and includes the additive and second data that is based on the result of optical measurement of the lubricating oil that is used in the machine and includes the additive.
