Abstract:
This luggage stowing device 1A comprises: a second hand luggage detection unit 29 that detects information about hand luggage 3 being transported by a main conveyor 5; a stowing robot 15 that stows the hand luggage 3, which had been transported by the main conveyor 5, in two containers 2; and a stowing computation unit 33 and a stowing control unit 38 that, on the basis of the information about the hand luggage 3 detected by the second hand luggage detection unit 29, control the stowing robot 15 such that the order of priority of the container 2 in which the hand luggage 3 is stowed, and/or the order in which the hand luggage 3 is stowed in the container 2 relative to the order in which the hand luggage 3 was transported, is adjusted.
