Abstract:
The present invention relates to an automated machine comprising a device for processing and then dispensing fresh produce such as apples, pears and similar, as shown in figure 1, which is generally placed in a public place for direct use by customers and people. The machine comprises means for washing, peeling, coring and chopping the produce according to the request of the user and means for cleaning the internal parts of the processing device. The automated machine also includes a processor and a human-machine interface that allows the user to customise the produce as he or she wishes. The invention also relates to a method for processing the produce and dispensing same to the customer by means of said device, solving, at the lowest possible cost, the problem of, and impediments to, eating apples directly in public places.
