Abstract:
Provided are a magnetic element with which it is possible to generate a skyrmion in a laminated film comprising a magnetic layer and a nonmagnetic layer, a skyrmion memory to which the magnetic element is applied, and the like. A magnetic element for generating a skyrmion, the element being provided with a two-dimensional laminated film, wherein the two-dimensional laminated film has one or more multilayer films comprising a magnetic film and a non-magnetic film laminated on the magnetic film. Also provided is a skyrmion memory having a plurality of magnetic elements laminated in the thickness direction.
