Abstract:
Disclosed is a magnetic rotation device with desirable efficiency through reduced copper loss. A magnetic rotation device (1) comprises a rotating element (3) wherein n flat permanent magnets (2), where n is a positive integer, and whereupon magnetic poles are formed upon the obverse faces and the reverse faces, are positioned equidistantly along the circumference direction; and a plurality of electromagnets (5) that are anchored upon a stator (4) such that poles of the electromagnets (5) are facing poles of the permanent magnets (2) having the same polarity, causing magnetism in the permanent magnets (2) and causing the rotating element (3) to rotate. The respective permanent magnets (2) are positioned so as to divide the circumference direction of the rotating element (3) into n parts, respectively commanding a 40-70% share of an angle of division (α). While the permanent magnets (2) are in opposition to the electromagnets (5), electricity is made to flow through the electromagnets (5), and after the permanent magnets (2) have passed the electromagnets (5), the electric current to the electromagnets (5) is interrupted, thereby imparting rotational force by magnetism to the rotating element (3).
