Title:
MAGNETIC SCREW-NUT SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/028760
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a magnetic screw-nut system, comprising: - a nut capable of turning or translating about an axis; - a screw capable of interacting magnetically with the nut and translating or turning inside the nut along said axis, an air gap being formed between the screw and the nut, the nut bearing two helices made of magnetic material extending parallel to each other in a helical manner about the axis, the nut bearing at least one magnet, placed at the outer periphery of the helices, the north pole of the magnet being connected to one of the helices and the south pole thereof being connected to the other of the helices in such a way that the helices are respectively polarised north and south; the screw bearing two helices made from magnetic material extending parallel to each other in a helical manner about the axis, the screw bearing at least one magnet, placed at the inner periphery of said helices, the north pole of said magnet being connected to one of said helices and the south pole thereof is connected to the other of said helices in such a way that said helices are respectively polarised north and south; the pitch of the helices of the nut being substantially equal to the pitch of the helices of the screw.
