Title:
MAGNETIC SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/239933
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a magnetic sensor which, even when the magnetic field to be measured is faint, is capable of detecting said magnetic field by means of closed-loop control. [Solution] The present invention comprises magnetic body layers 61, 62 that face one another with a magnetic gap G2 therebetween, a magnetic sensing element R2 that is disposed upon the magnetic path formed by the magnetic gap G2, and a compensating coil 70 that is disposed in the magnetic gap G2 and cancels out magnetic fluxes applied to the magnetic sensing element R2. With the provision of the magnetic body layers 61, 62, the present invention makes it possible to efficiently apply a magnetic flux to the magnetic sensing element R2. Moreover, the compensating coil 70 is disposed in the magnetic gap G2, and thus it is possible to position both the magnetic body layers 61, 62 and the compensating coil 70 close to the magnetic sensing element and thereby enable a magnetic field generated from the compensating coil to be efficiently applied to the magnetic sensing element.
