Title:
MAGNETIC TORQUE VARIABLE RELUCTANCE TRANSDUCER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2002/056448
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A magnetic torque variable reluctance transducer for efficiently induction-converting a rotation torque by rotating a rotor by the rotation of an inductor by using the magnetic field magnetic force of a permanent magnet and continuing the rotation adequately. The transducer comprises an inductor (101) having a rotating shaft (102) and magnets arranged along the periphery of the rotating shaft and a rotor (103) having a rotating shaft (104) and magnets arranged along the periphery so as to induction-rotate the rotor (103) by the rotation of the inductor (101). The inductor (101) and the rotor (103) are so arranged that there is a magnetic induction region (S) in which the rotation path of the magnet (122) of the inductor (101) overlaps with that of the magnet (123) of the rotor (103) and the magnets (112, 123) rotate out of contact with one another. The polarities of the magnet (122) of the inductor (101) and the magnet (123) of the rotor (103) are so determined that attraction and repulsion are repeated between the magnet (122) of the inductor (101) and the magnet (123) of the rotor (103) in the magnetic induction region (S) when the inductor (101) rotates.
