Abstract:
An embodiment relates to a magnetization rotational element comprising a spin orbit torque wire (20), a first ferromagnetic layer (1) laminated on the spin orbit torque wire, and a low-resistance layer (30) laminated in a region not overlapping the first ferromagnetic layer when seen from a lamination direction of the spin orbit torque wire. The spin orbit torque wire includes a first region (21), a second region (22), and a third region (23). The first region, when seen from the lamination direction, overlaps the first ferromagnetic layer. The second region, when seen from the lamination direction, does not overlap the first ferromagnetic layer and the low-resistance layer and is located between the first region and the third region. The third region, when seen from the lamination direction, overlaps the low-resistance layer. The low-resistance layer has a resistivity lower than a resistivity of the spin orbit torque wire. The low-resistance layer is thinner than the spin orbit torque wire.
