Abstract:
A main transmission mechanism for a flat knitting machine comprises a left base member (1) and a right base member (2). A slide rail assembly (3) is provided between the left base member (1) and the right base member (2). A carriage device (4) is installed at and fits the slide rail assembly (3). The carriage device (4) comprises a front carriage assembly (41) and a rear carriage assembly (42). The right side of the right base member (2) is provided with a motor base (5). A main drive apparatus (6) is provided at the motor base (5). Rear sides of the left base member (1) and the right base member (2) are provided with synchronous belt transmission apparatuses (7) arranged in parallel to each other. The main drive apparatus (6) independently drives, by means of the synchronous belt transmission apparatus (7), the rear carriage assembly (42) to perform reciprocating movement. The main drive apparatus (6) is provided with a fixing and adjusting apparatus (8). The fixing and adjusting apparatus (8) is used to fix the main drive apparatus (6) at the motor base (5). Moreover, the fixing and adjusting apparatus (8) can be used to adjust a level of tension of the synchronous belt transmission apparatus (7) connected to the main drive apparatus (6). The front carriage assembly (41) is connected to the rear carriage assembly (42) by means of a carriage connection apparatus (9), thereby realizing synchronous reciprocating movement of the front and rear carriage assemblies. The main transmission mechanism for a flat knitting machine has a simple structure, stable transmission performance, long service life, and low operation noise, thereby increasing economic benefits.
