Abstract:
Provided is a management system which can change the implementation method of a ranked game without following a setting change in a gaming machine, and can also select a gaming machine that is in an ordinary working state. The management system A1 comprises a PTS terminal 1700 and a management server A3. The PTS terminal 1700 is assigned, so as to be able to communicate, to each of a plurality of gaming machines A2 which can execute a game and which each belong to any of a plurality of groups, and stores game value information of the assigned gaming machines A2 and game information related to gaming machine identification information. The management server A3 receives play information from a plurality of PTS terminals 1700, and executes a ranked game that determines a ranking, on the basis of play information of each of the gaming machines A2. The management server A3 determines a group that will be allowed to take part in a ranked game from the plurality of gaming machines accompanied by the plurality of PTS terminals 1700.
