Abstract:
This manufacturing device for a rotor (20) includes a magnetization device (30). The magnetization device (30) is configured to magnetize a permanent magnet (23) of the rotor from outside the rotor. The rotor includes a rotor core (22) with a magnet housing hole (24), and the permanent magnet is embedded in the magnet housing hole and has a protruding folded-over shape which protrudes inward in the radial direction. The magnetization device includes a first yoke portion (32), second yoke portions (34, 42), and magnetization coils (33, 35, 43). The first yoke portion includes an opposing portion (32a) which faces an outer circumferential surface (22a) of the rotor. The second yoke portions form a magnetic path with the first yoke portion. The magnetization coils (33, 35, 43) are provided on the magnetic path of the first and second yoke portions. On the basis of energization of the magnetization coils, the magnetization device magnetizes the permanent magnet by causing a magnetization flux to flow at least through the rotor between the first yoke portion and each second yoke portion, the first yoke portion being opposite the second yoke portions in the radial direction of the rotor.
