Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a method for manufacturing an absorbent, the method being capable of effectively manufacturing a laminated absorbent which absorbs a body fluid at a high speed and provides an excellent dry feeling, and from which a body fluid hardly leaks. [Solution] In a manufacturing method for an absorbent 100 according to the present invention, while suctioning an integration recess section 21 during transport, nonwoven fabric pieces 10b and hydrophilic fibers 10a of synthetic fibers which are transported by air flow are integrated into the integration recess section 21. The integration recess section 21 has a low-suction recess section 21T and a high-suction recess section 21K having a higher suctioning force than the low-suction recess section 21T. The nonwoven fabric pieces 10b are integrated into the integration recess section 21 by supplying the nonwoven fabric pieces 10b to the integration recess section 21. The hydrophilic fibers 10a are integrated into the integration recess section 21 by supplying the hydrophilic fibers 10a to the integration recess section 21 after integrating the nonwoven fabric pieces 10b. In addition, a greater amount of the nonwoven fabric pieces 10b is integrated into the high-suction recess section 21K than the low-suction recess section 21T.
