Abstract:
Provided are a manufacturing method and a manufacturing device for hollow structure boards, the method and device having excellent productivity and workability. First, hollow frustum-shaped protrusions are formed in a zigzag pattern on one surface of thermoplastic resin sheets using vacuum molding to obtain molded sheets. Next, two molded sheets that have each been formed separately are brought together with the hollow protrusions facing each other and are heat-sealed to form a unit. In the unification process, a set of rollers on which multiple pins have been formed in a zigzag pattern is used. The pins of the rollers are inserted into the hollow protrusions of each molded sheet and press at least a portion of the apical portion of each hollow protrusion from the inside.
