Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a manufacturing method of an interdental cleaning tool in which leaking of a resin material from a gap between a secondary mold and a shaft is suppressed.
[Solution] This interdental cleaning tool manufacturing method includes a base preparation step for preparing a base and a cleaning part forming step for forming a cleaning part. The secondary mold (50) used in the cleaning part forming step includes a holding part (54), a cleaning part body forming part (56), a brush forming part (57), and a protrusion (58) protruding from the inner peripheral surface of the holding part (54) so as to dig into the shaft (20), wherein the insertion end-side end of the protrusion (58) in the axial direction of the shaft (20) is connected with the base end-side end of the cleaning part body forming part (56) in the axial direction. In the cleaning part forming step, in a state in which the holding part (54) is holding a held part and the protrusion (58) is digging into the shaft (20), the resin material is filled into the filling space (S) from the side of the insertion end (22a) towards the base end.
