Abstract:
[Problem] To solve the problem that conventionally it was impossible to automatically acquire the coordinate information of a place name, etc., and position information in map representation data in association. [Solution] It is made possible to automatically acquire the coordinate information of a place name, etc., and position information in map representation data in association by a map representation data processing device comprising: a map representation data acceptance unit for accepting map representation data; a character acquisition unit for acquiring a character string from the map representation data; a coordinate information acquisition unit for acquiring coordinate information that corresponds to the acquired character string; a position information acquisition unit for acquiring position information that corresponds to site information that is the character string, using a site dictionary having one or more pieces of site position information that correlates site information and position information; and an associative output unit for outputting the coordinate information and the position information in association.
