Abstract:
The present disclosure describes a system and method for a marker-based augmented reality system. The method includes acquiring image data including image related to real-world environment from a camera of the electronic device, identifying at least one marker from the acquired imaged data, identifying information represented by the at least one marker, the information represented by the at least one marker including at least one of content data, metadata, or server data, generating content based on the at least one of the content data, the metadata, or the server data, and displaying, on a display of the electronic device, the content overlaying the image related to the real-world environment, wherein the content is displayed on at least one portion corresponding to at least one first location in which the at least one marker is located in the image of the real-world environment or at least one second location indicated by the at least one marker.
