Abstract:
Provided are a mask and a method for manufacturing the mask, the mask being formable from a substitute even when an existing mask is not at hand. This mask 1 comprises two sheets of thin paper 8, 16 such as paper towels, wherein: in a first step, each of the thin paper 8, 16 is vertically folded in two; in a second step, a first stacked section of the first thin paper 8 and a second stacked section of the second thin paper 16 face and overlap each other; in third and fourth steps, pleat sections 4, 5 are formed; and in fifth to seventh steps, both overlapped end sections are folded toward the rear side together with strings 7.
