Abstract:
A massage chair may comprise: a seat portion configured such that a user's buttocks and thighs are seated thereon and supported thereby; a sliding frame installed to be able to slide forward/backward with regard to the seat portion; a leg massage portion installed on the front end of the sliding frame such that the user's feet and calves are contained and cradled therein; a calf massage unit for acupressuring and massaging the calves contained in the leg massage portion; a sensing unit for interworking with the calf massage unit and sensing the user's leg length; and a sliding unit for moving the sliding frame forward/backward according to the user's leg length sensed by the sensing unit. According to the massage chair of the present invention, the sensing unit configured on the leg massage portion interworks with the calf massage unit, senses the user's leg length, and automatically moves the sliding frame forward or backward, thereby adjusting the position of the leg massage portion, and the entire legs can be massaged while the user's calves are fully forced against the interior of the leg massage portion.
