Abstract:

A material for making a biological tissue transparent is a biocompatible aqueous solution having an effect to make a biological tissue transparent, and contains an electrolyte. The material for making a biological tissue transparent preferably has a refractive index of 1.40 or more and an impedance of 14 kΩ/cm or less. The material for making a biological tissue transparent preferably contains a non-electrolyte selected from a sugar and a sugar alcohol.
