A material transport apparatus (1) and use thereof. The material transport apparatus (1) comprises a transfer unit (20) and a position acquisition unit (10). A position of a material tray (100) relative to a module jig (200) is adjusted with reference to position information of a desired placement position acquired by the position acquisition unit (10), and then the transfer unit (20) transfers a camera module between the material tray (100) and the module jig (200).
