Abstract:
A mattress (1), comprising: a mattress body (2) to be laid on a bed frame, an opening slot (20) extending along the length thereof, a filler block (3) with a different hardness to the mattress body and a shape corresponding to the opening slot of the mattress body so as to facilitate insertion into and engagement with the opening slot, and a plurality of deformable slots provided at a top surface (11) and bottom surface (12) of the mattress body. When the mattress is flexed, the plurality of deformable slots will deform to prevent folds from forming. The opening slot comprises a dome-shaped surface for support of the filler block and a curved side surface positioned on two sides of the dome-shaped surface. The mattress is applicable for an electric bed and the deformable slots prevent the formation of folds when the electric bed is unfolded, thereby preventing obstruction in the laying out of an electric bed board. The hardness of the filler block differs from the hardness of the mattress body. User needs can be referenced to customize a mattress with different hardness in different areas.
