Abstract:
The invention relates to a drive system and a method for an asphalt mixing machine, providing a new and different mechanism based on positioning extended tracks in the cylinder used for mixing. The production, sale and operating costs associated with this mixer are lower than those of mixers currently available on the market because the new drive system requires only one power source for its operation, aided by connections between mechanical parts, such as pulleys, sprockets, axles, power transmission belts, conveyor belts, chains and drums, which reduce speed for the correct operation of each of the parts.
