Abstract:
Disclosed are a media resource playing method and a display device, which belong to the technical field of terminals. The method comprises: receiving a control display instruction; in response to the control display instruction, acquiring a first playing effect parameter supported by a currently played media resource, wherein the first playing effect parameter is used for indicating a playing effect of the media resource; determining a target playing effect parameter on the basis of the first playing effect parameter, and a second playing effect parameter supported by a display device, wherein the second playing effect parameter is used for indicating a playing effect of playing a media resource in the display device, and the target playing effect parameter is included in both the first playing effect parameter and the second playing effect parameter; and displaying a control corresponding to the target playing effect parameter. Therefore, a user can directly operate a control corresponding to a displayed target playing effect, so as to realize the switching of a playing effect of a media resource, and can quickly experience a better media resource playing effect.
