Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a medical glass container and a method for manufacturing same, wherein: the medical glass container is heat resistant, has a large contact angle with aqueous content, is highly transparent, and has excellent lubricating properties (sliding properties); peeling of a silica component (a SiO2 component) of glass, which is a base material of the container, does not easily occur; aggregation (adsorption) of protein, which is an effective component of a medicine, does not easily occur; and peeling of a thin film is suppressed. The medical glass container according to the present disclosure is characterized in that a thin film is formed on at least a portion of an inner wall of the glass container, wherein the film is a diamond-like carbon film that does not contain silicon.
