Abstract:
The present invention allows cell culturing while the cells are suspended, and is configured for easy recovery of the cultured cells. An additive for suspension culture according to an embodiment is a medium additive that is added to a medium in order to culture cells while the cells are suspended, the medium additive including cellulose oligomer. A medium composition according to an embodiment is a medium composition that allows cell culturing while the cells are suspended, the medium composition including cellulose oligomer. A method for cell culture according to an embodiment includes culturing cells in the medium composition.
