Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the field of material preparation. Disclosed are a melt flow rate adjusting system and method for a multi-component radial functionally gradient material apparatus. The adjusting system comprises: a raw material storage tank, a mixing funnel, a screw rod melting machine, a centrifugal casting machine, a temperature sensor and a control platform. The method comprises: obtaining, by means of controlling gradient melting, a melt with multiple elements changing continuously, and establishing a mathematical relationship model between a melt flow rate and changing elements; continuously feeding the melt into a centrifugal-casting rotary casting mold at a proper speed in combination with real-time feedback data; and the mold being quickly filled with the melt, and the melt being quickly solidified, so that the melt with the elements continuously changing in a radial direction is sequentially solidified. The present invention has the advantages of real-time feedback and being flexibly controlled and easily operated, and large-size pipes, bars, solid/hollow disks and plates with radial gradient change in elements of materials, such as alloys, resins and glass, with different elements can be prepared by means of the method, thereby simplifying the preparation process, reducing time costs, and improving the quality and preparation efficiency of finished products.
