A mesh shell cover comprises a mesh enclosure and a plastic layer; the plastic layer is arranged below the mesh enclosure; meshes are uniformly distributed on the mesh enclosure; the plastic layer is provided with a bump embedded into the meshes; and the mesh enclosure is fixedly connected with the plastic layer. The forming method of the mesh shell cover comprises: preparation procedure, double-sided etching of dislocations, stamping forming, surface treatment, in-mold injection and demolding. The front side holes and reverse side holes of the meshes are distributed in a staggered mode and the bump of the plastic layer is embedded into the meshes, so as to realize the fixed connection between the mesh enclosure and the plastic layer and therefore avoid using an adhesive which is indispensable for fixed connection in traditional industry, and furthermore, such fixed connection is not only environmental-friendly, but also outstanding in fixation effect. The fixed connection between the mesh enclosure and the plastic layer is realized by the steps that the mesh enclosure is formed by stamping and subject to surface treatment at first and then a hot-melt plastic raw material infiltrates into the meshes of the mesh enclosure to increase the strength of engagement. The steps are simple and the beneficial effect is significant.
