Abstract:
Disclosed is a metal core that is for a crawler, can join by a simple operation without using dedicated parts for joining, and can suppress deformation resulting from force input from a road surface. The metal core (20), which is for a crawler configures an endless crawler belt (13) of which adjacent pairs are joined in the peripheral direction (S) and are disposed leaving a fixed gap in said peripheral direction, can join by a simple operation without using dedicated parts for joining and can suppress deformation resulting from force input from the road surface by means of being provided with: a pin section (22) that extends in the widthwise direction; an hooking groove (34) that is formed integrally with the pin section (22) and at which the pin section (22) of an adjacent metal core (20) is hooked; and a pair of vanes (30) that are formed integrally with the pin section (22) and that extend outwards in the widthwise direction, being respectively disposed at both ends in the widthwise direction sandwiching the pin section (22).
