Abstract:
A metal mold for wood shaping that is suitable for compression molding of softened
wood with no difficulty. Accordingly, there are provided ejection holes (54,64)
running from a face abutting on wood (1) through main body part to outside the same.
It is preferred that the open end at the abutting face of each of the ejection holes
(54,64) be formed at a position that at the application of compressive force,
abuts on location not used on the wood (1) after compression molding. The wood
(1) subjected to compression may have hole (11) running through the same in the
direction of thickness thereof, adapted to at the application of compressive
force, coaxially communicate with the ejection holes (54,64).
