Abstract:
Provided are, inter alia, a metal sheet in which producibility and cost during mass production are improved while sufficient strength and performance are maintained, and a metal-supported electrochemical element provided with the metal sheet. This metal sheet 1 is formed by stacking a plurality of thin metal sheets 10, 20. The thin metal sheets 10, 20 have a plurality of through-holes 10c, 20c that pass through in the thickness direction. The metal plate 1 has a through-space 1c through which the through-holes 10c, 20c of the thin metal sheets 10, 20 communicate with each other in a state in which the plurality of thin metal sheets 10, 20 are stacked. A metal sheet aspect ratio that is a value obtained by dividing the thickness of the thin metal sheets 10, 20 by the inside diameter of the through-holes 10c, 20c is 2 or less, and a metal support body aspect ratio that is a value obtained by dividing the total thickness of the metal sheet 1 by the smallest value of the inside diameter of the through-space 1c is 3 or greater.
